You can rest assured we treat all donor information with the utmost confidentiality and respect. We will never divulge any information about our contributors nor will we trade, sell, or publicize any of our mailing lists.

Three separate boards of directors - made up of members of the community -- provide oversight and governance for the United Methodist Home for Children. We hold an IRS 501(c)3 nonprofit designation with the United States federal government; are registered with the Pennsylvania Department of State Bureau of Charitable Organizations; licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare (PA DPW); relate to the Central Pennsylvania Conference of the United Methodist Church; and hold memberships in the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO), Pennsylvania Council on Children, Youth, and Family Services (PCCYFS), Leave A Legacy, and the United Methodist Association of Health and Welfare Ministries (UMA).

We ascribe to the highest ethical standard when accepting any gift. We make every good faith effort to honor and fulfill the donor's intended wishes for every contribution in accordance with the internationally recognized "A Donor Bill of Rights" developed by the American Association of Fundraising Counsel (AAFRC), Association of Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).
